Top Down Games Performance in Hungary, Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, several top down games made a significant impact on the gaming market in Hungary. Here's a look at the performance trends for the top five applications on the unified platform, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Block Blast! from Hungry Studio saw an impressive increase in weekly downloads, starting at 16.6K at the beginning of October and peaking at nearly 33K by the end of December. The weekly active users showed a consistent upward trajectory, beginning at 75.6K and reaching 284K by the end of the quarter.

Bus Out, published by Zego Global Pte Ltd, experienced a notable rise in revenue, starting from $40 and increasing to $140 by mid-October. This was accompanied by a peak in downloads at 18.6K during the same period. The active user base also grew steadily, reaching over 31K by the end of December.

Zen Word® - Relax Puzzle Game by Oakever Games showed a gradual increase in revenue, peaking at $390 in the week leading up to Christmas. Downloads fluctuated, with a high of 11.5K in late October, while active users steadily increased, closing the quarter at over 37K.

Finally, Pokémon TCG Pocket from The Pokemon Company started strong with a revenue of $4.2K, peaking at $8.8K in early November. Although downloads began at 45.6K, they tapered off to 1.2K by the end of the year. Active users started at 44.3K, showing a decline to 28.6K through the quarter.
